We’ll discuss exactly what
you’re trying to achieve, partial/full property styling requirements and any associated timeline deadlines.

2. Meet at the Property

Full property styling will
have styling and layout discussed, with examples of suitable previous stylings shown. For partial styling, this process is more detailed where we go room by room and Leeder Interiors will recommend which items will need to be removed or kept. Photos and measurements of the space will be taken.

Property Styling – What to Expect

During the initial chat, we’ll discuss exactly what you’re trying to achieve, partial/full property styling requirements and any associated timeline deadlines i.e Real Estate Photography. Then a date for Alison is made to view the property.

Alison will meet with you at the property to discuss what areas need to be styled. Alison will show you examples of work showing similarly styled properties. If requiring partial styling, this process is much more detailed where we go room by room around the house, Alison will recommend which items will need to be removed or kept. Alison will then take photos and measurements of the space.

You will be e-mailed a detailed quote and list entailing what items are going into each area with an overall price for a 6 week period.

Once you’ve given Alison the go-ahead, she will get started with booking a delivery date to work within your timeline. The full rental amount is required to be paid in full before delivery. Alison then selects the perfect furniture and decor items to suit the space, keeping in mind the size of the property, age and the potential buyer/s. The overall aesthetic is inviting and homely with hints of colour, creating a space potential buyers will want to to live in.

Install day – where the magic happens. Alison will install and style the property. Installs last from 2-3 hours for small properties to a full day for a large property. Once finished, the property is ready for the photographers to arrive.

Property Styling – FAQ

Can I select the furniture?

I have a large range of furniture and accessories that suits all styles of homes. With many years of experience as a professional stylist, I’m a skilled expert of what will best suite your property. As the saying goes “too many cooks spoils the broth.”

What will it cost?

Depending the size and requirements of the property, the price start from $2000. An average modest 3 bedroom home is approximately $3500.

Can I live with the furniture if the property is partially styled?

Yes, I realise sometimes it’s just too hard to move out during the sale period. A condition of this is all soft furnishings (throws, bedlinen and cushions) are safely put away and only put on display during the opens. The same goes for floor rugs and any breakable décor items on tables. If the goods are damaged whilst in your home, the security deposit paid at the start of the rental period will not be refunded.

Can I hire your furniture for a photo shoot?

Yes, I love helping other stylists with their photoshoots. Pricing on application.

What are the payment terms?

Full rental amount paid in full prior to delivery/installation. An additional fully refundable security deposit is also payable. Starting at $500 (dependant on size of property) the deposit is refunded once the goods are collected and in good order.

What if my property sells before the end of the rental period?

That’s great if you sell your home quickly. Unfortunately, there is no recompense of funds.
