Happy Wrens-day.... Its been a while since I posted a fat bird, so voila. ⁠⠀
This little fella is from my favourite species of bird, the Wren. I have a special relationship with Wrens, as my niece is named after the Superb Fairy Wren (the blue one). During lockdown, I managed to see so many Superb Fairy Wren's all around Melbourne on my obligatory park visits. They make me happy⁠⠀

I feel like this image is a good representation of how Melbourne is feeling at present ☺️ After being in lockdown for so long, we’re now enjoying what life used to be. I visited Target briefly yesterday and I don’t think I stoped smiling behind my mask for the 30 minutes I was there 😆 Then visited my parents for dinner without having to pretend to be their ‘carers’ ( they don’t

Another happy client These are the jobs I enjoy the most, the old tired homes that might be a bit daggy and unloved. They are the homes that respond best to styling. Anyone can make a new build look fabulous(well maybe not everyone 😆) but to turn an average space into a fabulous space, that's where you need a professional stylist.

When dealing with a bold colour, like this blue carpet, a natural instinct is to tone it down with neutrals or add more blue toned accents. However, sometimes its better to add more colours that will distract the eye from the overwhelming colour. This landing has come alive with some pops of colour added.

To say I squealed when my client sent me this photo was an understatement 😆 I’d shown my Brunswick client these amazing lampshades a few times before she one day told me, yes, she’s doing it! 🥳 All the way from the UK, these shades are a work of art. Be still my beating heart 💗 💗💗 I recently discovered this design by Florence Broadhurst from @materialised_ I’m thinking about this for curtains for my bedroom ☺️

It’s so lovely to be back styling again! Since

It’s so lovely to be back styling again! Since the restrictions have lifted, I’ve installed 4 properties including this lovely home which was a partial style. Using the existing sofa, I’ve added the floor rug, coffee table, armchairs and some Australiana themed artwork. The rug toned down the blue carpet while the artwork added some warmth and homeliness to the room.

I don't normally "throw" my throws but that's exactly what I did when I styled this bedroom 💁‍♀️ I like it. I struggle to not make a throw perfectly straight. I realise I'm feeding into every stereotype that exists about Interior Designers by discussing such things, but there it is 😂🤷‍♀️
